A broad feline-derived Beastfolk Lineage whose stable identity is well established even though much of its detailed morphology remains naturally variable or undocumented.
A Feline Lineage, Not a Default Catfolk
Averesh are a stable Feline Beastfolk Lineage, but they are not the catch-all category for every cat-derived person in Cardorbis. Their known forms establish recognizably feline ancestry while leaving substantial room for variation in coat, tail, claws, body size, facial structure, and sensory emphasis.
No intrinsic Averesh magic is presently established. Feline instincts may influence attention to motion, spatial position, balance, or other sensory priorities without defining temperament or culture.
Awakening and Variation
An independently awakened magical cat can classify as Averesh when its resulting sapient architecture falls within the Lineage's inherited range. Larger or more specialized feline awakenings may instead belong to other Feline Lineages, as the Torevai demonstrate.
