The Shape of Creation describes the larger architecture within which Cardorbis exists: the Material World, the neighboring Planar Realms, the Spiritual World, and the boundaries through which these different forms of existence may influence one another. It is concerned not with the history of how those relationships changed, but with what kinds of reality exist and how contact between them remains possible.
The Material World is Cardorbis as its inhabitants know it through land, body, craft, history, and everyday life. Here lie its peoples, nations, wildernesses, creatures, cultures, resources, conflicts, discoveries, and works.
From continents and kingdoms to a medicinal herb or the metal within a particular blade, everything physically rooted in Cardorbis can ultimately find a place within this branch of the Archives.
The Unseen Powers are the beings and intelligences whose existence reaches beyond ordinary mortal perception: gods, celestial orders, infernal powers, spirits, and other entities whose actions can cross the boundaries between worlds.
This branch concerns who these beings are, how their orders and relationships are structured, what they desire, and how their choices have touched the history of Cardorbis.
History & Ages traces the events and eras that transformed Cardorbis across the Material World, the Spiritual World, and the divine order. From the earliest shaping of the world to the wounds still visible in the Turning Sky, it explains how the present grew from choices, catastrophes, victories, betrayals, and changes whose consequences outlived the people who first experienced them.
Vox Argentum cards are designed to work first as individual pieces of art and then as entrances into larger structures of character, world, philosophy, and meaning. This Archive explains the elements shared across the cards while leaving each Collection free to develop its own vocabulary, organization, and way of interpreting the words and images it contains.
