Bovine is a recognized Beastfolk Kindred for compatible cattle-, aurochs-, bison-, buffalo-, yak-, and related awakening architectures. No stable sapient Bovine Lineage is presently known.
The Bovine Kindred is the recognized Beastfolk category for compatible awakening architectures derived from cattle, aurochs, bison, buffalo, yak, and closely related magical beasts.
Kindred classification follows inherited biological and metaphysical architecture rather than outward resemblance alone. Horns, a broad build, or a minotaur-like silhouette are therefore not enough by themselves to establish Bovine ancestry.
A Kindred Without a Known Lineage
No stable sapient Bovine Lineage is presently known. Individual Bovine Wildfolk may still arise when sufficiently powerful bovine-derived magical beasts Awaken into compatible sapient forms.
One such awakening would remain an individual origin. Only a population whose sapience and characteristic inherited architecture reproduce reliably would justify recognition of a Lineage.
No intrinsic Bovine magic, universal culture, temperament, profession, or homeland is presently established.
