Calyren are a distinct Amphibian Beastfolk Lineage whose documented inherited traits include smooth amphibian skin, large expressive eyes, fin-like sensory structures around the head, light webbing of the hands, broad amphibian feet, and a single swimming-adapted tail. Known individuals include blue-skinned forms with amber-gold eyes, though one Ascension family does not establish the full color range of the Lineage.
No intrinsic Calyren magic is presently established. Observation, engineering skill, patience, and reflective temperament belong to individuals and cultures rather than to Calyren biology.
Known Ascension Line
