Cartilaginous-Fish Kindred

The Cartilaginous-Fish Kindred encompasses compatible Beastfolk awakening architectures derived from sharks, rays, skates, and related magical beasts.

Shark-derived and ray-derived Beastfolk may differ dramatically in mature body plan while remaining members of the same reproductive Kindred. If multiple stable Lineages eventually make the distinction useful, Cardorbian scholars may recognize Branches within the Kindred without changing that deeper compatibility.

No Known Stable Lineage

No stable named Lineage is presently known. An awakened shark, ray, or skate may therefore be recognized as Cartilaginous-Fish Wildfolk while remaining unclassified at Lineage level.

Predator ancestry does not prescribe aggression, bloodlust, warrior culture, or temperament. Likewise, ray ancestry does not prescribe serenity, mysticism, or grace of personality. Taxonomy describes inherited architecture, not character.
