Chelonian Kindred
The turtle- and tortoise-derived Beastfolk Kindred, presently represented by Dovarun and kept separate from the broader descriptive category of reptile-derived peoples.
Shelled Beastfolk Architecture
Chelonian Beastfolk arise from turtle- and tortoise-derived awakening patterns. A shell is an inherited anatomical structure and naturally offers physical protection, but its existence does not automatically establish game-like withdrawal, claws, extraordinary breath-holding, fixed armor values, or any other trait not independently documented.
Chelonian can eventually contain both terrestrial and aquatic Lineages. Habitat does not determine ancestry, and an aquatic Chelonian remains Chelonian rather than becoming Piscine simply because it swims.
Known Lineages
Dovarun are the presently established Chelonian Lineage. Future marine-turtle, softshell-like, tortoise-derived, or other stable Chelonian architectures can become separate Lineages if inheritance justifies the distinction.
