Corvine Beastfolk arise from crow- and raven-derived awakening patterns that cluster closely enough to justify a Branch within the wider Avian Kindred. Corvine ancestry does not establish mimicry, thieving instincts, attraction to bright objects, necromantic affinity, spying, or unusual cleverness as inherited truths.

Ruveketh and Othrevi are conventionally treated as separate Lineages, though that distinction remains one of the places where Cardorbian taxonomy contains a legitimate scholarly dispute.
