Decapod Kindred

The Decapod Kindred is the recognized Beastfolk category for compatible awakening architectures derived from crabs, lobsters, crayfish, and closely related decapod magical beasts.

Decapod-derived Beastfolk need not converge on the familiar mammalian humanoid body plan. External armor, altered limb arrangements, manipulatory appendages, and other strongly ancestral features are possible, but no single form should be treated as universal before a stable Lineage is actually documented.

No Known Stable Lineage

No stable named Decapod Lineage is presently known. Individual Decapod Wildfolk may nevertheless exist without creating a hereditary people.

Useful anatomy does not determine culture. Armor does not make Decapod Beastfolk soldiers, builders, miners, or fortress-makers by nature, and no intrinsic Decapod magic or universal social pattern is presently established.
