Dovarun
A shelled turtle- and tortoise-derived Chelonian Beastfolk Lineage whose core ancestry is established without importing unconfirmed shell mechanics or universal aquatic traits.
Known Biology
Dovarun are shelled Chelonian Beastfolk descended from turtle- and tortoise-derived awakening patterns. Their stable Lineage is clear even though the Archive does not impose one universal answer for shell retraction, claws, limb structure, neck mobility, swimming ability, breath capacity, lifespan, facial structure, shell pattern, body size, or sexual dimorphism.
No intrinsic Dovarun magic is presently established. A shell provides the ordinary physical protection expected of a shell, but no additional mechanics are assumed without evidence.
One Chelonian Lineage
Dovarun do not represent every possible Chelonian Beastfolk. A future marine turtle-derived or otherwise distinctive population can form another Lineage while remaining reproductively part of the same broader Kindred when the inherited architecture supports it.
