A stable lizard-derived Lacertine Beastfolk Lineage whose ancestry is well established while much of its detailed morphology remains naturally broad or incompletely documented.
Established Without Overdefinition
Dralethi are a stable lizard-derived Beastfolk Lineage within the Lacertine Kindred. The full range of their scales, tails, crests, claws, facial structures, gait, aquatic adaptations, and temperature tolerances is not collapsed into one mandatory form simply because particular lizards possess those traits.
No intrinsic Dralethi magic is presently established. The generic terms lizardfolk or lizard-folk can describe them in ordinary speech, but Dralethi is the Lineage name and does not encompass every possible lizard-derived Beastfolk population.
Awakening and Distribution
Compatible lizard-derived Wildfolk can classify as Dralethi when their awakened architecture falls within the Lineage's inherited range. Known Dralethi populations do not define a universal culture or restrict where members of the Lineage can live.
