A fully feathered, naturally flightless Avian Beastfolk Lineage with functional hands, powerful legs, articulated climbing feet, hooked facial structure, expressive crest plumage, and balancing tail feathers.
A Flightless Avian Architecture
Kethovar are fully feathered Avian Beastfolk whose natural body plan is flightless. They possess functional humanoid hands rather than wings, sturdy and powerful legs, articulated feet suited to climbing and balance, a short hooked avian face or beak, expressive crest and cheek plumage, and a balancing tail.
Flightlessness is ordinary Kethovar anatomy, not damage, curse, failure, or an incomplete form of Avian life. No intrinsic Kethovar magic is established.
Ascension Does Not Change Lineage
The First Spark, Flame Mentor, and Phoenix Champion belong to one Kethovar Ascension line. Their increasingly dramatic presentation and association with fire do not make Kethovar a fire-elemental or phoenix-descended people. Those changes belong to individual Ascension.
The warm orange, apricot, ember-red, and cream plumage documented in that family demonstrates possible Kethovar coloration, not the complete palette of the Lineage.
