Lacertine Kindred
The formal lizard-derived Beastfolk Kindred, containing Dralethi and Ressathi and replacing the older habit of treating all reptile-derived Beastfolk as one reproductive category.
Lizard-Derived Beastfolk
Lacertine is the formal Kindred for compatible lizard-derived Beastfolk architectures. The broader word reptile-derived remains useful descriptively, but it is too wide to imply that lizard-, snake-, turtle-, and crocodilian-derived peoples all belong to one reproductive Kindred.
Dralethi and Ressathi are the presently established Lacertine Lineages. No intermediate Branch is needed merely to make the tree look symmetrical.
Classification by Architecture
A newly awakened lizard-derived Wildfolk can be placed within Dralethi or Ressathi when the inherited architecture genuinely matches, or remain an unclassified Lacertine Wildfolk when it does not. Stable new forms can eventually justify additional Lineages.
