An athletic Canine-Branch Beastfolk Lineage distinguished by an inherited sensitivity to aura: emotional, intentional, and living-energy qualities that still require interpretation.
Form and Aura Sensitivity
Orelun are upright Canid Beastfolk with short fur, canine facial features, dexterous hands, and powerful legs. Their most distinctive inherited trait is a genuine sensitivity to aura, allowing them to notice changes in emotional, intentional, or living-energy qualities that many other peoples would miss.
Aura sensitivity is not telepathy and it is not a lie detector. An Orelun perceives information that must still be interpreted through experience, context, expectation, and personal judgment. The sensation can be accurate while the conclusion drawn from it is wrong.
Lineage, Not Profession
Orelun individuals may develop this sense through training or incorporate it into leadership, mediation, hunting, scholarship, or magical practice, but none of those occupations defines the Lineage. A compatible Wildfolk awakening can be Orelun without belonging to any particular Orelun culture or institution.
