Othrevi
A raven- and crow-derived Corvine Beastfolk population conventionally recognized as distinct from Ruveketh while remaining part of an active in-world taxonomic debate.
Corvine Ancestry
Othrevi are raven- and crow-derived members of the Corvine Branch. Their ancestry does not establish mimicry, necromantic talent, a fascination with bright objects, inherited cunning, or a natural vocation for spying.
No intrinsic Othrevi magic is presently established, and exact flight and morphological ranges remain broader than one exemplar can define.
One Lineage or Two?
The conventional taxonomy recognizes Othrevi and Ruveketh separately because historical records and the peoples themselves have long treated them as distinct populations. A minority scholarly position argues that those differences are insufficient for Lineage status and reflect long cultural separation more than deep biological division. The Archive preserves the dispute rather than pretending the evidence is more decisive than it is.
