Ressathi

Established Morphology

Ressathi are a distinct Lacertine Lineage recognized by a strongly documented inherited body plan. Known traits include fine overlapping black scales, ash-gray facial markings, crimson pigmentation around parts of the throat and tail, lavender-magenta eyes with vertical pupils, a short flexible cranial crest, a reptilian face with a short muzzle, dexterous clawed hands, gripping feet, and a long muscular tail.

Those traits distinguish Ressathi from Dralethi without making either Lineage more advanced or more complete.

What the Lineage Does Not Establish

Older accounts sometimes associated Ressathi with heightened senses, unusual heat tolerance, environmental hardiness, or natural fire aptitude. Those claims are not treated as confirmed Lineage-wide biology. No intrinsic Ressathi magic is presently established.

The Embertrail and Twilight Alchemist Ascension line demonstrates Ressathi individuals working with hazardous routes, alchemy, and fire-adjacent environments. Those are the lives of particular Exemplars, not proof that Ressathi society as a whole is subterranean, alchemical, fire-focused, or poison-oriented.
