Ruveketh
A crow- and raven-derived Corvine Beastfolk population conventionally recognized as a Lineage, with Great Branch courier associations that remain cultural rather than biological.
A Corvine Lineage
Ruveketh are raven- and crow-derived Avian Beastfolk. Detailed flight biology and intrinsic magic are not established as Lineage-wide traits. The same caution applies to mimicry, extraordinary memory, secrecy, and other familiar corvine stereotypes.
Courier routes and guilds associated with Ruveketh communities on the Great Branch are real institutions, but they do not make courier work an inherited calling.
The Corvine Classification Debate
Most current taxonomies retain Ruveketh and Othrevi as separate Lineages within the Corvine Branch. Some scholars argue that historical and cultural separation has been given too much biological weight and that the two populations may be better understood as one broader Lineage. Their ordinary reproductive compatibility is not in dispute because both remain Avian.
