The fox-derived Beastfolk Kindred, presently containing the Thesren, Velisai, and winter-adapted Olyren Lineages.
Fox-Derived Beastfolk
Vulpine Beastfolk share a compatible fox-derived architecture without requiring one universal magical gift, temperament, culture, or body plan. Similar outward features can therefore belong to Lineages with substantially different inherited specializations.
Known Lineages
Thesren are fox-derived Vulpine Beastfolk with no intrinsic Lineage-wide magic presently established. Velisai possess a narrow inherited capacity for self-directed visual misdirection, especially convincing false manifestations or doubles of themselves. Olyren are a winter-adapted Vulpine Lineage represented by the Frost Bloom and Queen of Winter Ascension line.
These distinctions do not make one Lineage a superior form of another. They describe stable inherited architectures within the same reproductively compatible Kindred.
