Intervention still matters—soil can be improved, overcrowding thinned, water redirected, and genuine threats removed—but successful stewardship does not require choosing one favored form of flourishing and suppressing every other possibility.

Two people can receive the same opportunity and discover different callings, two children can grow within the same home and become profoundly different adults, and two plants can turn toward the same light and still bloom in different forms. That difference does not necessarily mean one of them grew incorrectly. We sometimes mistake nurturing for directing.
